Hi guys,

I hope you are doing great! I have been so busy and stressed out the past two weeks that I haven't been able to blog. Working on this post right now actually feels therapeutic ; I guess that's what happens when you are doing what you love to do free of any kind of pressure.

I know most of you guys have heard about Hollywood's new sensation and obsession, Lupita Nyong'o, as she's been gracing every cover you can think of. I came across her magazine spread with Vogue Italia and I was so compelled to share some of her gorgeous photos with you.

I love Lupita, she's my African queen! It's rather refreshing to see the media focusing their attention on someone with great talent and she's stunning on top of it - sheer African beauty! If you haven't watched 12 Years A Slave yet, you should definitely see it; it's a very powerful movie.

Lupita's story is inspiring because it's all about pursuing your dreams even when others do not believe in them; the most important thing is that you believe in yourself - all you need is one person to say yes and it could change your life forever. Even if she didn't do another movie, she could still work this modeling thing as she is currently the new face of Miu Miu 2014 campaign.
