One Pair of Sandals - Five Different Looks

“There is an element of seduction in shoes thatdoesn't exist for men. A woman can be sexy,
charming, witty or shy with her shoes.”

A girl can never have enough shoes but she can definitely have a few favorites. The past spring/summer, these gladiator sandals were definitely one of favorite heels. It’s mainly because of the nude color that goes well with any outfit. Below are five different looks showing how I paired the sandals with different pieces.

1. Lavender Glow

In Lavender Glow and Celebrating Zambia's 50th Independence, the lavender and chartreuse dresses were ideal spring / summer colors and the nude sandals complemented them perfectly. By wearing heels that were neutral in color, I shied away from bold color blocks by focusing all the attention on the dresses.

3. A Little Bit of Lace

In A Little Bit of Lace, I wore the same sandals with some short shorts. I really love this toned down look with the beige shorts and cream lace top. I used to place limits on what I thought I could wear certain types of shoes/clothing with but now I just experiment with different pieces and for the most part, they work out just fine. Do you guys ever feel the same way about your clothes or shoes?

4. Backward Crop Top

I paired the sandals with a midi skirt in Backward Crop Top during the summer season. In the fall when the weather was much cooler, I still wanted to wear the sandals so I paired them up with a midi dress and light jacket in Shades of Green + Neutrals.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post; remember you don't have to buy a whole bunch of shoes for each outfit but you can recycle the same pair with the different pieces. Who am I kidding though? Buying shoes is so much fun :-).
