I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I was so thrilled to discover that I've had a burgundy suit in my closet for months without even realizing it. I purchased the pants and cape blazer from Charlotte Ruse on separate occasions and it never occured to me to wear the two pieces together until now. It's always great to find pieces that perfectly match each other as if they were meant to be worn together.

I was trying to find a perfect black top to go with the outfit and this black glitzy mini dress was an ideal top - it looks like a bodysuit. It worked out well in this case because the pants are slightly loose so the dress didn't make them look bulky. As you can see, there many uncoventional creative ways of incorporating different pieces into your look. Before you think about shopping, think about other ways that you can use pieces you already own.
