I came across the above quote and for a moment, I had to pause and seriously think about it. We are always told to watch what we say out loud to other people but we are never told to watch how we talk to ourselves or the conversations that we silently have with ourselves all the time. Over the years, I’ve been learning the art of self-encouragement. Most often, we can be so hard on ourselves but there’s something powerful about constantly encouraging and saying uplifting words to yourself. You will never believe the great things that people say about you if deep down, you do not believe that you are great or are capable of doing great things. But even when people don’t think you are capable of doing great things, you have to believe that you can so you can prove them wrong.

In this post, I’m wearing a long crepe sleeveless coat from Boohoo. It was so hard to decide on the endless sleeveless coat options that are currently in stock at Boohoo. In the end, I ended up with this light mustard coat, which is perfect for the fall season. I paired the coat with slightly darker mustard pants from Zara. These pants are actually cropped but because I’m vertically challenged, they actually fit me like regular pants, which is perfect for me!
