Hey guys,
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I'm disheartened by the events that occurred in Paris this past weekend. I still cannot wrap my head around it. I just cant begin to understand the lack of humanity and the powerful force of evil that exists in the hearts of some people. My prayers go out to the families and friends of the victims. I pray for comfort, strength and hope during this time of mourning. I know that God is close to the brokenhearted and those that are crushed in spirit. At the end of it all, evil will not prevail.
I came across a lot of complaints on social media as to why there was such a media blowout and so much focus on the attacks in Paris when the media has so easily glided over the numerous attacks that have taken place around the world, such as those in Kenya, Pakistan, Lebanon, Syria, Nigeria, and many many more. I cannot dispute the fact that there's a wide disparity about media coverage over similar events and some have argued that a lot of people have normalized the death of people in poor countries, thus, there isn't much attention given to them. Whatever the views are, terrorism is terrorism regardless of who the victim is or what country they reside in. Our prayers go out to all the families here and around the world that have lost loved ones to such cowardly acts.

I was surprised at how much I actually liked this dress from SheIn considering how cheap it was (just under $30). I purchased it as a backup dress for the Mwape Peer Awards and I ended up wearing it for the entire event. It was my first time buying from SheIn and I’m usually skeptical about purchasing outfits that are so cheap but the quality is quite decent. I purchased a few more items from there that I didn’t like as the quality was quite horrible.
