How to Accessorize a Neutral Outfit Combo
Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go. - T.S. Eliot
As I was getting ready for work yesterday, I checked my phone for the weather and I almost had a panic attack when I saw that it was 12 degrees outside! How do we move from 68 degrees last week to 12 degrees? The best part about yesterday was the fact that my swimming class was starting again. I could have been lazy and come up with a million excuses not to go but like a champ, I put on my big girl pants and went swimming!
I have come to realize that I can always find an excuse to not do something. I can always find an excuse to not go swimming or to not blog but this year, I'm not doing any of that. No more excuses (please remind me when I forget this statement)!
Last month, my hubby and I took a week off from work and went to Atlantic City for a few days. We did a lot more shopping than we intended to and while we were there, we decided to get each other early Christmas gifts. When it comes to presents, it's easier if you just let the other person know what you want so there's never room for disappointment :-).
I didn't know what I wanted for Christmas so he insisted on getting me this nude Michael Kors bag and Michael Kors watch. I'm very specific about the type of watches that I wear. I went for a gold chain bracelet watch. It adds a nice touch to my neutral outfit along with the nude handbag - accessories always add a nice touch to any outfit.
I love the different toned capes from Boohoo. You can never go wrong with a cape or poncho because they are always in season every winter; it's like buying a sweater. This cape was my inspiration for the neutral look, it just felt right wearing it with my favorite and only ripped jeans along with these nude heels from Charlotte Russe.
Thank you all for stopping by!
