How to Elegantly Style Your Shorts by Applying These 3 Tricks

When it comes to shorts, there’s a fine line between looking ratchet and looking elegant. In this post, I’ll show you how to amp up your shorts with what you pair them with and how you can transition them from summer to fall.
The quickest way to create an elegant look with shorts is by pairing them with these three things:
Button Down Shirt
A long-sleeved button-down shirt is the simplest way to polish up your look and make it chic and work appropriate.
Blazer/Vest
Mandee has some really nice sets of matching shorts and vests and that’s why I got this matching set from. In this post, I layered the button-down shirt with a vest for a more polished look, but a blazer will suffice as well. The shorts are high waisted, and they are not too tight, so they fit comfortably.
Heels/Flats
I cannot stress this enough, but what you wear with your shorts will make or kill your look. I’m biased towards heels, so I completed my look with the blush heels from Zara. However, a nice pair of flats will work just fine and still give you that polished office look.
Transitioning Your Shorts to Fall
If you are still looking to wear your shorts during the fall season, which comes with cooler weather, you still can. Here are a few easy ways you can do that:
