Exploring Seychelles Island
About 10 years ago, I was watching a documentary on the wonders of the world and must see places on earth. I fell n love with the gorgeous island of Seychelles and it became one of my top coveted destinations I would love to visit. I have been doing some research on the island and I just wanted to share with you some of the things I found out in preparation for my future visit :-).
The Seychelles Island is located in the Indian Ocean about 1000 miles east of Kenya. The archipelago has over 115 islands ranging from massive granite rock islands, coral reefs to lush vegetation. Some of the top islands to visit are Mahe, Praslin, La Diegue, Baie Lazare, and many more.
The island boasts of several gorgeous resorts but here's only a few where one can stay; you can thank me later.
This resort is perfect for honeymooners or couples looking for a quiet, serene and romantic getaway. It's a little on the pricey side with some rooms averaging about $600 a night but it's definitely worth the price with it spectacular views and ocean front rooms. Below are a few pictures of the resort.
2. Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa
This resort is located on the northwest coast of Mahé among the hills and coves of Beau Vallon Bay. Visitors have the option of residing in a hillside or oceanfront villa. This resort is just as magnificent as Banyan but half the price.
This resort is located on Grand Anse Praslin. The pristine white sand beach by the resort is spectacular. In their own words, Constance Lemuria boasts of "exquisite beaches, clear topaz water, lush vegetation and big boulders; choose from one of the 88 Junior Suites, 8 Senior Suites, 8 Villas or the exclusive Presidential Villa at Constance Lemuria."
This resort is located on the exclusive south end of Mahe on the popular Baie Lazare. It's about half an hour from the main airport and about 40 minutes from the capital city, Victoria. This resort looks like another amazing retreat spot to enjoy a very relaxing and soothing vacation.

Traveling Tip:
Planning a vacation may be stressful for some people but it doesn’t have to be. I usually start off planning my trips using kayak. It’s a great site that gives you price comparisons for many different booking sites at once. Then I use trip advisor to check out different hotels, activities and maybe read some reviews. I say maybe because I don’t really like reading reviews on hotels because no matter where you go, there will be that one person who had a horrible experience, which may not be an accurate reflection on how your experience will be. You can save yourself a few bucks by booking a package (flight and hotel). Personally, I prefer to book hotels in a tourist area rather than the out-scape of the main city. Hotels outside the main tourist area are usually a lot cheaper but they may actually turn out to be costly if the costs associated to getting to the tourist area are significantly higher.
I hope you all enjoyed this post; until next time, stay blessed!
