How to Style One Sleeveless Duster Three Different Ways
“We Generate Fears While We Sit. We Overcome Them By Action.”- Dr. Henry Link I’ve made many purchases previously where I did not fully maximize the pieces that I purchased mainly due to the fact that it was hard to incorporate them into different looks. That was not the case with this mustard sleeveless duster that I got from Boohoo last year. I was effortlessly able to style it with three different looks from shorts, pants to a jumpsuit.
Look 1: I wore this outfit to work during summer of last year and I love the way the duster complements the mustard pants. It was quite hot at the time so I wore it over a sleeveless blouse. The fabric is light so it felt just like a very light blazer but without the long sleeves. You can read more on this post and get outfit details by clicking on the link here.Look 2:
I love the fall with its array of vibrant rich colors from burnt orange to deep reds. Fall is one of those seasons where imitating the season’s colors is the ideal thing to do. Since the season is a lot cooler than the summer, I transitioned from summer to fall by taking a summer outfit (the skort) and wearing it with a sweater.
Once the summer ends, a lot of people find it hard to incorporate their summer clothes into their fall wardrobe. Shorts with booties/heels and a sweater are one way of incorporating your summer outfits into your fall look. The sleeveless duster adds a nice touch to the look. This was also shot during the fall but instead of shorts, I wore the duster over a printed jumpsuit. The thing I love the most about this look is the sharp contrast in the color tones and how they perfectly complement each other. The sleeveless duster adds a much needed pop of color to the black and white jumpsuit. You can check out this post here.Thank you all for stopping by; have a blessed day!
