Flirting with Floral Prints & Gold Accents
Nothing is ever lost by courtesy. It is the cheapest of pleasures, costs nothing, and conveys much. - Erastus Wiman
Hey guys,
Happy hump day! Hang in there, we are halfway done with the week :-). I can't wait for this week to be over. Have you ever had one of those days when the devil was really trying to get you ? I'm having that kind of week (not even a day) and my patience is really being tested. Through it all, I have to take a deep breath and remind myself to be courteous, kind and understanding. It's difficult to try to understand people especially when their sense of reasoning lacks logic but I have come to the conclusion that it is not my place to understand but it is my place to accept people just the way they are. So when I feel like snapping, I will choose to be kind instead.About My Look: There's something about florals that just screams summer! At the beginning of winter, I usually put away most of my summer clothes but when summer comes around, I forget about some of the clothes that I packed away. Such was the case with this dress; I completely forgot about it but thank goodness, Facebook memories was there to remind me and I immediately went to look for it.
This is a perfect summer dress - the vibrant colors, floral prints, and silk-like fabric make it ideal for the hot weather. I get so many complements in this dress; it has turned out to be one of my summer favorites. The dress is quite old and I don' recall where it was purchased from but you can get similar floral dresses from Macys or Chicwish. The gold sandals can be purchased from Public Desire and they have them available in five other colors; the gold color is my favorite. Public Desire recently launched their U.S site so I guess it is now quicker to ship products to customers based in the U.S. Lastly, the gold belt can be purchased from Asos and a similar gold clutch an be purchased from Kohl's.Thank you dolls for stopping by! Let me know your thoughts on this outfit :-).
