Keeping up with Last Summer Looks

Hey guys,

I'm so happy that my site is back online. As most of you are aware, my site has been down for the past week while I was working on switching my hosting platform. Being the tech person for your own blog can be so exhausting and time consuming and I'm just glad to be back up.

There's so much to catch up on I don't even know where to begin. This past Saturday I went to a concert in Brooklyn and I was just so blessed to be in God's presence. I went to the concert mainly to see Sinach, who is simply amazing and super anointed and ended up being introduced to other amazing artists such as Dee Jones. All I've heard this past week is bad news from literally everywhere and sometimes when you are feeling down, you just have to shake off the spirit of depression by praising God in the midst of it all.

During this time, I urge you guys to pray for your loved ones daily, pray for everyone that is hurting and going through a difficult time, pray for this country during the election period, and also pray for the people of Haiti - that God in his divine strength and mercy would see them through this difficult time.

I shot this outfit about 2 weeks ago and I can't believe that between then and now, we have gone from summer and straight to winter. Okay maybe I exaggerate a little bit but seriously, the temperatures have dropped drastically and all my fall jackets are out.

I don't remember where I purchased the top from, it's quite old. The skirt is from Mandee, the belt is from Bebe and the shoes are from DSW. This outfit is perfect for a night out on a date or with the girls. I love the gold belt, it's the perfect accessory to instantly upgrade any look and make it appear more elegant. It doesn't look like we may be re-purposing most of our summer clothes in the fall if the weather continues to drop at this rate but let's keep our fingers crossed.
